About This

• CLEANER, BETTER-TASTING WATER - Reduces chlorine taste and odor and captures very small particles at the point where water enters the house, so every tap downstream is fed by the same filtered supply.
• FINE FILTRATION WITHOUT LOSING PRESSURE - Filters at a nominal 0.5 micron while flowing like a nominal 10 micron carbon block, with just 4 psi of initial pressure drop at 4 gpm, so it suits homes where low flow has been a chronic problem.
• CYST REDUCTION IN FPS SYSTEMS - Tested and certified by NSF against NSF/ANSI Standard 53 and CSA B483.1 in the FPS-10, FPS-10BB, FPS-20 and FPS-20BB systems for the reduction of cysts such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia by mechanical means.
• SIZED FOR 20-INCH BIG BLUE HOUSINGS - Maximum dimensions of 4.63" x 20" let it drop into genuine Pentair Big Blue and other heavy duty housings built for 4-1/2 inch cartridges, replacing most 20" x 4.5" carbon blocks.
• 50,000 GALLON CAPACITY - Delivers more than 50,000 gallons of chlorine taste and odor reduction at 4 gpm from bonded powdered activated carbon media; replace when flow rate falls off or you notice a change in water quality.
