About This

• Four radial flow carbon block cartridges at 1 micron, replacing Hydro Life 52418, C-2471 and the HL-200 series. At a three to six month change that covers a year to two years on one housing, and carbon keeps indefinitely in its packaging.
• Radial flow carbon block: water is pushed through the media from the outside in rather than channeling around it as it can in a granular cartridge. That contact is what reduces the chlorine, bad taste and odor that make treated water unpleasant to drink and cook with.
• At 1 micron this is a fine grade, finer than the 5 micron cartridges that fit the same housings. It captures sediment on the way through as well as handling taste, so it is doing both jobs in one body.
• A fine cartridge loads faster on dirty water. If your supply carries real sediment, run a coarser sediment cartridge ahead of this one rather than asking the carbon to do both jobs, and it will reach its full life. Changing it takes no tools.
• Fits all standard 10 by 2.5 inch housings. Same size as WFPFC8002, WFPFC9001, SCWH-5, WHKF-WHWC, CBC-10, FXWTC, FX12P, FXUSC, CTO10, EP-10, 42-34373, MAXETW-975, WVC34, R30, AP101T, WHKF-GD05 and WCBCS-975-RV. CFS is an independent brand, a compatible replacement and not an OEM part.
