About This

• FIVE PIECES IN STAGE ORDER - The 5 micron sediment filter goes first, holding back the dust, particles and rust that would load the stages behind it. Two carbon blocks follow, taking chlorine out before the water reaches the membrane, since chlorine reaching a thin film composite membrane shortens its service life. The 50 GPD membrane strips dissolved solids, and the inline post filter polishes on the way to the faucet.
• EVERYTHING TO DO THE SERVICE - The kit ships with a sump wrench and three housing O-rings alongside the cartridges and membrane. Housings grip hard after a year in service and a strap wrench can crack the plastic before it breaks one loose. Fresh O-rings matter too, since a flattened seal is what most housing leaks turn out to be rather than damaged plastic.
• FITS THESE SYSTEMS - Replacement for the FILTER-SET-ES position, covering ROES-50, ROES-75, ROES-PH75, ROES-UV75, ROES-UV75-SS, ROES-PHUV75, RO-45, RO-90 and RO-PUMP. The drop in cartridges are standard 10 by 2.5 inch and the membrane is a standard 1812, so the same kit fits most other four and five stage systems.
• CHECK THE POST FILTER FITTING - The inline post filter has quarter inch quick connect fittings, so it pushes onto quarter inch tubing with no tools and no tape. It will not seat on three eighths inch line. Here is the ten second test: if your current post filter has to be turned with a wrench, you have the threaded style instead.
• THREE OPTIONS ON THIS PAGE - With Inline Post Filter is the four piece set without the membrane. This is the five piece kit with the 50 GPD membrane, the sump wrench and three O-rings. Neither includes an alkaline cartridge, so if remineralization is why you bought your system, that stage is a separate part.
