• THREE SEALS, ONE PER CHANGE - A pack of three housing O-rings, so there is a fresh seal ready at each cartridge change for the next three services. Buying them with the filters is cheaper than a call-out for a weeping sump, and an O-ring costs a fraction of the cartridge it seals in.
• SEAL FIRST, THEN CHASE THE DRIP - Most housing leaks are not cracked plastic, they are a flattened or nicked O-ring. The seal takes a set after a year in service and stops springing back against the sump lip. Wipe the groove clean, seat a fresh ring, and add a thin smear of silicone grease so it slides instead of rolling when you thread the sump back on.
• MEASURE THE OLD RING BEFORE YOU ORDER - O-rings are sized to the housing, not to the cartridge inside it, and a filter system often uses more than one size. Pull your old seal, lay it flat, and measure the outside diameter across the middle. Match the housing model on the filter head rather than the cartridge you buy.
• FITS OR-4 POSITIONS - A replacement for the OR-4 housing seal, used in standard 10 inch slim line filter housings. This is a compatible replacement, not an original manufacturer part, and part numbers are used for reference only.
• SEALS ONLY, NO CARTRIDGES - This listing is three O-rings and nothing else. It does not include a filter cartridge, a housing or a wrench. If you need the cartridge as well, order it separately and change both at the same service.
