The post filter follows the main tank and polishes on the way out, at 0.35 micron catching the fine particles that made it that far. With two of each in the box, that is two full services rather than one.

Sediment media works on particles only — for taste and odor the carbon stage in the main tank does that work, and for certified contaminant reduction look for systems tested to NSF/ANSI standards for those claims.
• ✅FITS THESE PART NUMBERS – Replacement pair for the EQ-304-20 sediment prefilter and the EQ-PFC.35 post filter positions. The prefilter is a standard 20 inch cartridge, so it also covers P5-20, SDC-25-2005, FPMB5-20, 155016-43 and AP110-2C. Note that EQ-304 without the 20 is the 10 inch version, half the length of this one.
