About This

  • KEEP YOUR WATER CLEANER - The nominal 5 micron pleated media reduces dirt, sand, silt, rust, and sediment particles, helping keep your water cleaner and helping protect appliances, plumbing, and downstream filters.
  • CELLULOSE POLYESTER BLEND - A special formulation of resin-impregnated cellulose and polyester fibers delivers higher wet strength than regular cellulose, high flow rates, and minimal unloading and media migration.
  • ABOUT 18 SQUARE FEET OF MEDIA - The media is pleated around a polypropylene core for high dirt-holding capacity, and a sonically welded overlap seam reduces internal bypass to improve filtration efficiency.
  • FITS ALL 10-INCH BIG BLUE HOUSINGS - This drop-in 10" x 4.5" cartridge fits 10-inch Big Blue and other heavy duty housings; the color-coded white endcap identifies the 5 micron rating.
  • PACK OF 8 WITH LOW PRESSURE DROP - Initial pressure drop is less than 1 psi at 20 gpm across a 40 to 125 degrees F range; replace each cartridge when you notice a drop in water pressure or quality. Includes 8 cartridges.
