About This

• Cleaner, Better-Tasting Water: Enjoy cleaner, better-tasting water from your tap with WaterChef’s advanced Big Block filtration technology. Reduces 78 certified contaminants, including up to 99% of Lead, PFAS “Forever Chemicals,” Microplastics, Cysts, Mercury, Chlorine, VOCs, and NSF/ANSI 401 emerging contaminants, so you can feel confident in the water you drink every day.
• BIG BLOCK TECHNOLOGY – Broad Filtration, Naturally Balanced Water: WaterChef’s proprietary Big Block filtration combines solid carbon with additional filtration media to target multiple categories of tap water contaminants in one cartridge. It reduces contaminants while allowing naturally occurring calcium, magnesium, and potassium to remain in your drinking water, helping preserve the refreshing taste of water without the “flat” taste associated with filtration methods that remove minerals.
• IAPMO PLATINUM CERTIFIED – Tested & Verified: Certified to NSF/ANSI Standards 42, 53, 401 & 372 for verified contaminant reduction and material safety. The C6500 is independently tested to reduce specified contaminants found in municipal drinking water, giving you confidence in the quality of your drinking water and the performance of your filtration system.
• 600-Gallon Capacity: The C6500 water filter system is rated for 600 gallons. That means fewer replacements, less maintenance, less cartridge waste, and a lower ongoing cost per gallon, making high-capacity filtration more convenient for everyday life.
• Know When It’s Time to Replace Your Filter: Order your replacement when you have reached 600 gallons of usage or observe a reduced flow, recurring taste or odor.
• Quick & Easy DIY Installation – No Tools or Plumbing Required: Attach the 6500 to most standard kitchen faucets in minutes without tools or plumbing. Not recommended for pull-out or spray-style faucets. Check your faucet configuration before purchasing to ensure compatibility. If your faucet isn’t compatible, WaterChef offers under-sink filtration options as an alternative.
• Countertop Convenience – Filtered Water Where You Need It: The 6500 brings high-performance filtration to your kitchen counter without under-sink plumbing. The included 2-way diverter lets you switch easily between filtered and regular tap water, making it a convenient choice for homes, apartments, rentals, offices, dorms, cabins, and RVs.
• Compact, Durable Design – Built for Everyday Use: The space-saving 6500 measures 4.75" W × 6.75" D × 10" H and combines high-impact ABS with stainless steel construction. BPA-free and designed for cold potable municipally treated water at 0.75 gal/min at 60 psi, it delivers filtered water without wasting water down the drain.
• Designed, Manufactured & Assembled in the USA – Built for Long-Term Confidence: The C6500 is designed, manufactured, and assembled in the USA using both domestic and imported components. It arrives ready to use with a pre-installed CR65 cartridge. It’s built for dependable, long-term filtration.
