This high-capacity activated carbon block filter cartridge measures 10" x 2.5" and is individually wrapped for convenience. It is compatible with most industry-standard 10" reverse osmosis and under-sink water filtration systems.
The PDR-FC15 filter utilizes 5-micron coconut shell carbon and compression fabrication techniques to achieve maximum filtration efficiency and a longer filter life. Activated carbon is an effective adsorbent due to its highly porous nature, which provides a large surface area for contaminants to adhere to.
Before use, remember to unwrap the cartridges. This filter does not reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in water and instead preserve healthy minerals. If you need a filter that removes TDS, consider PureDrop's Reverse Osmosis (RO) membranes.
The lifetime of the carbon block activated carbon water filter is around 6-12 months, depending on your water quality.
