About This

• The pre and post service set for Rhino class systems: the 20 micron pleated pre-filter captures sand, silt and rust before your main tank, and the 0.35 sub-micron post-filter polishes fine sediment after it. Four cartridges in the box covers both stages, which is what the system actually needs for a scheduled change.
• Fits EQ-300, EQ-400, EQ-600, EQ-1000 and EQ-WELL-UV whole house systems using EQ-304-20 and EQ-PFC.35 cartridges. If either of those part numbers appears on the cartridges you are pulling out or in your system manual, this is the right set regardless of which name is printed on the housing.
• The two stages run on different schedules, which is the part most owners get wrong. Pre-filters change every two to three months because they take the coarse material; post-filters run about six months because the pre-filter has already done most of the work. Having both on hand means neither runs long while you wait on an order.
• A sub-micron post-filter only works because the pre-filter protects it. Fed straight from the mains, a 0.35 micron cartridge blinds within weeks. Run behind a 20 micron pleated stage it reaches its full life and gives water noticeably clearer than the first stage could manage alone. That is why they are sold as a set.
• These are the pre and post cartridges only, not the main tank or its media, and not a pre-filter-only pack. They capture particulate through mechanical filtration and do not change the taste or odor of your water. CFS is an independent brand, a compatible replacement and not an OEM part.
