Nitrile Rubber Material: Made from black nitrile rubber (NBR). This material resists swelling from pool chemicals and holds its shape under temperature changes common in pump housings
Basket Lid Cover Seal: This o-ring sits between the pump strainer basket lid and the housing. A proper seal keeps water inside the pump and prevents air from being pulled into the system
Simple Replacement: Remove the old compressed or cracked ring. Clean the groove and lid surface. Stretch the new 354533 o-ring into the groove. Reinstall the lid and hand-tighten
3 O-Rings per Order: Includes three o-rings (part #354533, also called O-231). Keep extras on hand. Replace every 3-4 months depending on water chemistry and pump run time
