About This

• ✅ABOUT PRODUCT: It is a package of Replacement filter cartridges compatible with EPW4F water filter cartridges. It has a larger surface area and has a longer filter life. This water filter cartridge removes more pollutants by providing "depth" filtering.
• CARBON BLOCK, NOT GRANULAR – The carbon in this cartridge is compressed into a solid block rather than loose granules. Water is forced through the block instead of finding channels around loose media, so contact time is more consistent from the first gallon to the last. It reduces chlorine and the tastes and smells that ride with it.
• BUILT FOR A BIG BLUE HOUSING – This is the 10 by 4.5 inch large capacity size, not the slim line 10 by 2.5 inch cartridge. The larger diameter holds more carbon and presents more surface area to the water, which is what lets a whole house unit run at household flow rates without choking down the pressure at the taps.
• FITS EPW4F AND OTHER 10 x 4.5 HOUSINGS – Sized for Eco Pure EPW4F systems and the standard big blue style housings that take a 10 by 4.5 inch cartridge. Measure your old cartridge before ordering: the 10 by 2.5 inch slim line size will not seal correctly in a big blue sump, and the two are easy to confuse by eye.
• MATCH THE FILTER TO YOUR WATER – Service intervals depend on what is in your supply and how much water the house uses. Heavy chlorine or high volume typically means changing sooner; light use typically stretches the interval. Falling pressure at the taps is the signal to change it, not the calendar.
