About This

• NO-LEAK PUSH-FIT SNAP-LOCK CONNECTION: The John Guest acetal fitting locks 3/8 inch OD tubing with a collet that holds securely under pressure, delivering a reliable seal for water filter systems, reverse osmosis systems, refrigerator water lines, RO faucet lines, and garden hose snap-fit connect setups without any tools.
• CONNECTS MIXED WATER LINE SIZES IN ONE FITTING: This push-fit adapter joins 3/8 inch OD tubing to a 1/2 inch BSPT male fitting, making it a practical water line adapter for RO filter installs, fridge water line kits, hose adapter applications, and water filtration system builds where tube and thread sizes differ.
• NO-TOOL CONNECT AND DISCONNECT FOR REPEATED OPERATION: Push the tubing in to connect and press the collet ring to release; the push-fit design supports repeated connect and disconnect cycles, keeping the water hose or water line connector secure and no-leak each time it is reconnected under working pressure in any installation.
• NO-LEAD ACETAL BODY WITH FOOD-GRADE NITRILE O-RING RATED TO 230 PSI: The acetal construction paired with a food-grade nitrile O-ring supports working pressures up to 230 psi at 68 degrees F, making this fitting suitable for potable water, RO water filtration systems, water purifier lines, and RO filter applications.
• JOHN GUEST PI451214CS: 1/2 INCH BSPT CONED FEMALE X 3/8 INCH OD PUSH-IN: Built to John Guest specifications, this push-in fitting is compatible with plastic and copper tubing across water filtration, RO system, garden hose adapter, hose adapter for outside faucet, and refrigerator water line installations. Includes 1 fitting.
